Optomechanics
Design, tolerance analysis, integration into complex systems, and manufacturing of optomechanical components and devices
Mechanical Design of Custom Lenses
Often, we also design the mechanical housing for the optical systems we develop, ensuring complete integration and quality. Our tasks include:
- Optomechanical design of custom measurement system lenses
- Design of precision lens housings
- Mounting of flat optical elements such as mirrors and prisms
- Design and simulation of temperature-compensated lenses
- Integration into existing CAD models
- Tolerance analysis
- Preparation of manufacturing drawings
Mechanical Design of Custom Measurement Systems
Comprehensive design of complex mechanical systems, whether for machined, 3D-printed, or injection-molded manufacturing technologies. We have completed the mechanical design of numerous custom measurement systems, many of which we assembled in-house, allowing our customers to receive a working prototype. Below are some of our references:

Custom-designed photometer mechanics for bioreactor application
The photometer is part of a bioreactor measurement system capable of determining the transmission of liquids in cylindrical syringes and standard 5 mm cuvettes.
The measurement system consists of two interlocking, separate arms, each illuminating the centrally located syringe at different wavelengths. If necessary, standard 5 mm cuvettes can be placed on the measurement arms with fitted magnetic holders for calibration purposes.
Photometer for automated water quality testing equipment
CAD model of a photometer built into a water quality testing device for automated monitoring of liquid transmission at different wavelengths.
The system includes a motorized filter wheel, also composed of custom-designed mechanical elements.
Preparation of Manufacturing Drawings
At the end of the design phase, we always prepare manufacturing drawings and machining instructions tailored to the customer's needs. Simple parts are manufactured in-house if necessary, while more complex or higher quantity orders are produced by our partners. The finished products are delivered after dimensional inspection and, if required, full assembly. Our services include:
- Preparation of tolerance manufacturing drawings
- Manufacturing instructions
- Surface treatment specifications
- Tool and gauge design if necessary
